Mariska Hargitay is back to work! The star of Law & Order: Special Victims Unitt returned to the set on Monday, two weeks after suffering a collapsed lung, an NBC rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.
Hargitay had been sidelined since Jan. 12 with a pneumothorax — a partially collapsed lung — according to Access Hollywood. Filming halted in Hargitay’s absence, and the actress, 45, will appear in all episodes.
Chris Meloni told Us that “she’s doing great.
“We’re back on track,” he said Friday at the Sundance Film Festival’s premiere of Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, in which he has a supporting role.
Meloni, who co-stars with Hargitay on SVU, says they plan to shoot the current season until May and that she’s fine.
“She got a little dinged up,” he said. “And everyone just thought, ‘better safe than sorry.’”
Hargitay received a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Detective Olivia Benson, but did not attend this year’s ceremony.

After news of 5-member idol band FT Island guitarist Oh WonBin leaving the group, a new member has been found for the group to make 5 members – trainee Song Seung Hyun (18).
Following F&C Music on 29th January, new member Song Seung Hyun will join the group as guitarist and sub-vocal (including rap). Song Seung Hyun is also a flower-boy like the rest of the FT Island member with the height of 180 cm and weight 60kg.
FT Island will take on the image of the boyband of teenagers with the new member and comeback with a minialbum mid-February.

Calvin Chen has been abstaining for three years. He took the opportunity to wander down the New Year streets and went to the temple to pray to the gods. It was the first time he had prayed for marriage fate. In this public place where people go to meditate, Calvin called out to his ideal lover.
Ideal factors said out loud
For the big New Year celebrations Calvin wore a red T Shirt and a pair of jeans to the temple to seek marriage. He was very nervous and frequently asked the person in charge:
“Doing it like this will fate happen?!”
When people go to worship they are very sincere and Calvin has a similar feeling. He prayed to the god Yue Lao and burnt incense to show his sincerity. He then concentrated on his ideal characteristics of a girl and said them out loud. [Long hair, white rosy skin, tall and elegant with class]. The manager jokingly said:
“Calvin! You don’t need to say it so loud!”
After praying he then had to walk around the centre of the temple three times and joined others as they walked around.
“My Canadian friends would walk three circles and I laughed all night!”
Get married and have a family before 30
Three years ago Calvin painfully broke up with his ex girlfriend to join Fahrenheit. He has now just turned 28 years old and says:
“I hope that I can get married between 28 and 30 years old with no surprise marriage.”
In fact, these three years there have been a couple of interesting girls, but only as friends. Instead I let them go. Love didn’t start and didn’t finish. Afterwards, Calvin was full of confidence with destiny to bring women into his sight. He couldn’t help but smile and say:
“Today I feel that I can definitely get married.”

A 40-year-old woman finally found her missing toddler after a heart-breaking two-year search – and she now faces another problem. The ‘caretakers’ of the child want RM3,500.
Norchikan Kambali, who fell sick soon after her six-month-old daughter Akhmal Darlinna Zaidi went missing in August 2006, said she could not afford to pay them.
She has lodged a police report and sought help from the Welfare Department.
Ms Norchikan said she used to leave Akhmal with a nanny when she went to work at a factory here. But when she went to collect her baby one morning, the nanny claimed her brother had taken the child away.
Ms Norchikan said she immediately informed her husband who helped her conduct a door-to-door search for the baby.
After a Malay daily ran a story about an Indonesian couple in Tampoi who were caring for a child, Ms Norchikan finally located her daughter on Dec 30 last year.
‘I was overjoyed and went to meet the couple but was enraged because they wanted money from me,’ she said.
‘My husband and I have no money but we really want our baby back.’
The mother of three said it was unfair for the ‘caretakers’ to ask for money as she was not the one who had left the child with them.
State Women, Family, Community and Health Committee chairman Dr Robia Kosai said they would obtain a court order to place the child under their care while they carry out DNA tests to establish the identity of the child.
Muar OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Nasir said police had referred the case to the Welfare Department because it was not a criminal case.
Some insisted that it seemed like they were taking advantage of the situation… which mean if they truly care for the well-being of the child… they wouldn’t care so much about the money and return the child happily to the mother.
Or that almost sounds like kidnapping to some who think they should give more details like if they even had a son to pick up their daughter or were their daughter treated that well in those “care-takers’” house.
